The experiment was carried out in March, 2005 with implementation of two different scanning systems independently. The following systems were implemented: CMS-100 and iQsun880.

Survey of the quarry Medvezhiy Ruchey
The work was carried out in December, 2003 in order to demonstrate the potential of laser scanning. Some parts of the quarry got scanned. Snow cover made it impossible to scan some details of the pit edge. The result was represented in clouds of points.
